Additional health and accident riders may be attached to individual or couple insurances, thus enhancing the protection of the insurance policy. In exchange of an additional premium, the insured may attach any of the following additional insurances to the main one:
Additional rider for waiver of premiums in case of disability
Waiver the policyholder from paying future related premiums for the main insurance and for any additional clauses, in a percent equal to the degree of disability, if the physiological disability is at least 25%, or in full if the disability is total.
Additional rider for accidental death
Payment of the sum insured amount for this clause to the policy’s beneficiaries, if the insured person has a fatal accident during the validity of the policy.
Additional rider for accidental disabilities
According to the degree of disability suffered, during the validity of the clause, involves the payment of a percent of the sum insured amount or the full amount.
Additional rider for surgical intervention
Payment of a percent of the insured amount, according to the type of surgical intervention.
Additional rider for accidental surgical intervention
Payment of a percent of the sum insured amount, according to the type of surgery needed due to an accident.
Additional rider for criticall illness
Payment of the sum insured, on the basis of a diagnose of criticall illness (cancer, infarct, stroke etc), with no connection to medical expenses, hospitalisation expenses or medical treatments, the illness diagnosing being in fact the event insured.
Additional rider for daily hospital benefit
Payment of a daily indemnity for each hospitalisation day.
Additional rider for accidental daily hospital benefit.
Payment of a daily indemnity for each hospitalisation day due to an accident.
